Over-the-counterlockwise absenteeism
That embellished sunset in the reflection of several buildings
Like an accusation
Like whispered caveats
I’m quite the biased enthusiast

I’ve come to an understanding
Your vocal chords house decommissioned songbirds
Forced into retirement

Those cramped rituals in your chest

that squalid pita bread
and its intended revenge on your gastrointestinal tract

birthing lubricated bullets
wet crust
